Product Description

In a culture that promotes isolation and autonomy, this book reveals life-changing methods for creating healthy relationships and authentic community. Readers learn to apply New Testament principles that capture the essence of Jesus' teachings about effectively caring, serving, and loving one another. Beginning with God's simple command to "Love one another," this book shows how to: develop deep, genuine friendships; model to others a relationship with Jesus; create meaningful interaction with strangers; avoid the pitfalls of judging others; and, show people love, acceptance, kindness, and respect. Complete with discussion questions, this book is appropriate for both individuals and church groups. It is a must for all Christians who wish to practice being the church rather than merely attending one.

A Pastor's Review5
I loved this book. The authors have captured what I believe is the essence of the purpose of what it is to be a spiritual man, a true Christian - the God given power and ability to love one another, God's way. Suddenly being a part of the Bride of Christ is no longer a burden, nor a cruel obligation, but a wonderful adventure to be shared with those who used to frustrate and annoy me. The material in the book is not that new nor novel, but, in my opinion, the authors have captured something of the heart of God that the church as a whole seems to have forgotten in recent years - that love is the highest measure of true spirituality. It is not only informative, full of great teaching and discussion ideas, it is inspiring and an encouragement to anyone - from those who carry the responsibility of teaching; to those trying to find a meaning and a purpose to church; to those who would seek encouragement to persevere and move ahead in their relationships; to those who wonder why they have so few, if any, friends! As one who is seeking truth and trying to find a way forward in this season we are in, I whole heartedly endorse this book.

Wayne has done it again5
Wayne Jacobsen and his brother Clay have collaborated in another book that will alter the way you think about your life of faith!

No longer will you feel the pull of obligations, nor will your relationships with others of faith be shallow and performance based, this book opens your eyes and more importantly your heart to live life loved and lovingly!

The art of 'one anothering' is an art we all need to learn!

Even my non-professing wife was intrigued by the prospect of the 'one anothering' tag line!
