I read this book in one day - I could not put it down!
A friend gave me this book as a birthday present, and I found it so interesting that I read it from cover to cover in one day. I am a beginner at Astronomy and so it may not suit advanced amateurs; however I learnt a great deal from it.

I found the chapters on Skywatching Tools and the Starhopping Guide particularly useful.

I would recommend this book for older children and "bigger kids" alike. it is full of easy-to-read text and beautiful pictures and diagrams.
