Transformation5
This book is responsible for transforming me from someone who couldn't cook to someone who positively enjoys cooking & is pretty good at it too. All the recipes I've followed worked (& I've tried a significant number of them over the years) & the pictures are tempting. My particular favourites dishes from the book are; feta filo pastries, mexican fajitas & the Mediterranean tart on the cover of the book. I've bought lots of veggie cookbooks since, but this is still the best.

A book to inspire and encourage even the least culinary-mind5
Over 150 mouth-watering recipes with influences from the Mediterranean, New World, and the Orient, as well as vegetarian classics. Featuring advice from The Vegetarian Society on achieving a balanced diet and getting the maximum benefit from your meals. This colourful book makes an ideal gift for anyone who enjoys good food.

Fantastic Book5
I was given this book about a decade ago when I went vegetarian. This book is absolutely fantastic. It starts out with some great advice on what sorts of products to avoid or try which is very useful for those who may not have grown up vegetarian. The recipes themselves are fantastic, really delicious and very doable. This is my cookbook bible and I still use it quite a lot 10 years on in spite of now having a collection of vegetarian cookery books. It even has a baking and sweets section. An ambsolute must have whether you are an experienced cook and vegetarian or just starting out as I was when I first received this
