Product Description

The Casteel family saga concludes with this fifth and final book as Annie and Luke return to Farthinggale Manor to finally put her past behind her. But the Manor still holds one final key to the mysteries surrounding her family. GHOSTS FROM THE SHADOWS OF THE PAST On their return to Farthinggale Manor, the mystery-shrouded luxury home of the Tatterton family, Annie and Luke believe that they will be putting the past finally to rest, and bringing peace to the spirit of Annie's mother, Heaven. But Annie discovers a diary at Farthinggale. There she finds the story of her grandmother, Leigh, and of her great-grandparents. Born into the privileged life of Boston's wealthy classes, Leigh hopes for happiness. Her dreams are shattered, however, when her parents divorce, and her mother Jillian marries Tony Tatterton. The awful shadow cast by the Tatterton family over the lives of the next three generations begins to spread!

Editorial Reviews

Review
Praise for Virginia Andrews: 'Beautifully written, macabre and thoroughly nasty! it is evocative of the nasty fairy tales like Little Red Riding Hood and The Babes in the Wood, with a bit of Victorian Gothic thrown in. ! What does shine through is her ability to see the world through a child's eyes' Daily Express 'Makes horror irresistible' Glasgow Sunday Mail 'A gruesome saga! the storyline is compelling, many millions have no wish to put this down' Ms London 'There is strength in her books -- the bizarre plots matched with the pathos of the entrapped' The Times

Fantastic4
Web of dreams is a truely touching novel that pulls my heartstrings even now after reading it as many times as I have. The tale of Heaven's mother - Leigh and how her life changed when her mother left her father for the riches and splendour of Farthinggale Manor and Tony Tatterton. This tale touches even the most cold-blooded of people because it follows the thoughts of one young lady through the two most important years of her life. For those (like me) who read this novel AFTER reading the Saga will know the outcome of the story and how Leigh survives by looking to the future and keeping little Troy company, but still there are a few surprises hidden deep within the walls of Farthinggale Manor. In some ways it makes more sense to read this afterward because the prologue and epilogue of the story make more sense afterward. So what are these surprises? Well without ruining the whole plot I can safely say that readers who know the basic plotline of this story will be shocked as what they were lead to believe in "Heaven", "Dark Angel", "Fallen Hearts" and "Gates of Paradise" is not necessarily the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I will leave it to you to decide on your thoughts. As for me, I Love this book and could not put it down.

Web of Dreams is the story about Angel Heaven's mother.5
Web of Dreams is the sad, but a beautiful story, about Heaven's mother,Angel who if you remember died in child birth. The story tells us exactly what really happened, before Heaven's birth. The truth about the young, beautiful, rich girl named Leigh, who died at the age of fourteen.
