Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
A great Grinch-themed gift, this lively colouring book follows the Whos as they make their Christmas preparations and meet the small-hearted Grinch.

The cover features a still from live-action movie of the beloved Dr Seuss classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas and literally every page is perfect for creative colouring. There is even a Grinch ornament on the back cover to cut out and make.

Synopsis
To tie in with Universal Pictures' film adaptation of Dr. Seuss' festive tale, this fun-packed colouring book features a host of favourite characters for kids to enjoy, from the Grinch and his trusty dog Max, to the zany Whos of Who-ville -- target of the Grinch's wicked schemes. Hilariously funny and wildly inventive, Universal Pictures' blockbuster movie Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!(tm) promises to be the Christmas movie of the year, and many years to come. The film stars the irrepressible Jim Carrey (The Mask and The Truman Story ), and is directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13 and Happy Days) and scripted by the writers of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The film will be supported by a massive marketing and publicity campaign, starting in the Summer and building up to a crescendo of activity by the UK release date of 1 December 2000. Events include nationwide bookshop promotions and advertising campaigns on TV and radio, on-line, in print, and in-stadium (including the Olympics!).

Major promotional partners include one of the leading burger chains, and an extensive merchandising programme comprises a wealth of consumer products from toys, gifts and interactive video games to clothes and household goods.
