Plop! goes the drip that drops from the cup. Duck looks down and Duck looks up. 'A leak in the roof, oh! What bad luck. This is a job for FIX-IT DUCK.' So begins the hilarious new adventure of Duck and his friends Sheep, Goat and Frog. Duck decides that not only can he fix his own leaking roof, but that Sheep with his broken window would also benefit from his DIY expertise! Of course, by the time Duck has lent a hand, his hapless friends are left requiring even more repair work than they did in the first place! And what caused Duck's leaking roof? Could it be that he forgot to turn his bath tap off?!?

Editorial Reviews
Amazon.co.uk Review
Jez Alborough has a talent for telling a tall tale or two; in Fix-it Duck he surpasses himself. Enter one rather ridiculous--and, frankly, not very bright--duck on a mission to fix a leaky roof. What follows is a gloriously farcical farmyard adventure that will have tots and adults giggling merrily.
Fabulously bright, detailed illustrations capture the mood of the humourous text beautifully, making this divinely comic picture book for the very young an absolute must-read for everyone who has ever tried their hand at a little DIY. (Ages 2 and over.) --Susan Harrison

fantastic, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic
I used to weep with boredom when reading bedtime stories about little red hens and Old Farmers, this is different. Its funny, genuinely funny. I am not a man easily moved to laughter, (since I have a two year old who is an insomniac, who together with his 4 year old brother who are about as easy to please as a taliban warrior with piles.
Fix it Duck does the trick. It is beyond doubt the finest childrens book that adults can also enjoy I have yet encountered, funny, brilliantly illustrated...
Duck is back!!
This wonderful sequel to the fabulous Duck in the Truck is a must have for any parent or primary teacher. Duck is back and this time there is a hole in his roof and water is dripping through...it's time for him to become fix-it-duck. For those who are friends of duck, you know that this is not something he is likely to be good at, and so the fun begins. This book features the regular cast of Duck, Sheep and Goat, and it's worth keeping your eye out for Frog. A great combination of rhyming vocabulary and enticing illustrations that combine to tell the story...fantastic!
Fix It Duck A Great Book
This book has a good plot, is visually exciting for both child and parent, has a story within a story...where is Frog??
A good book to use in the development of stories and imaginative play.
My son knows it off by heart and tells the story to anyone who will sit down long enough to listen.
Thanks Jez Alborough...
