Learning 100 commonly used idioms
This workbook consists of 14 units, in which the idioms are organised according to different topics such as communication, disagreement, money, success and failure, etc. Each unit can be divided into four sections:
1. 'Studying': the idioms are put in various contexts to illuminate the meaning
2. 'Meaning': the learner has to complete the given sentences with the correct idiom
3. 'Practice A': a multiple choice exercise is based on the given chapter's idioms
4. 'Practice B': fill in exercise in which the learner has to put the idioms into the right form in the given context

In my opinion this workbook is very useful because the learner has to put and/or recognise one idiom three times, which helps in the process of memorising them. The key is given. This workbook is for intermediate or upper-intermediate learners but if you have some time to indulge yourself into the amusing part of language learning then this is definitely the right book to buy.
