A good buy4
This is a good book. It presents the proper and ordinary of the Mass in the correct (though sometimes complicated way) manner, and is useful, if you would like to follow the Mass, read the people's parts (if you havn't already memorised them!) or prayers (e.g. Eucharistic prayers) then this is a good choice if you have the money. There is nothing extra here than isn't already in the Parish Mass books or sheets (if you have them) though do provide the opportunity to look at the texts at any time. The content is entirely sufficient, though not total (that would make a very large book!), and the cover protects the delicate pages quite well. The various parts of the Liturgy are organised in a complicated manner occasionaly, especially for the Masses which allow for alternative readings. It could also do with a few more ribbons to mark pages (it has only two, which I have found to be insufficient). Overall, it is a good buy if you have a spare £15 hanging around.

Well worth the money!5
I ordered my copy of the Sunday missal last year and ever since then my husband has hogged it. It is an invaluable companion to Sunday service and I highly recommend it. Once you place your little ribbon on the correct page and start to follow through the correct year, season etc, it does make participating in mass far more enjoyable. However, as the previous reviewer has said, it can be a bit tricky in parts to follow and it would certainly benefit from some more ribbons, but these are quite minor in comparison to the overall benefit that this wonderful book provides.

Of course the reason that I am back on this page is that I now need to order another copy for myself :)

Missal5
I was given this by my Great Aunt who is 92 years old and got it from her church and she paid over £30 for it so I would say this is a bargain price! It is clearly laid out and lightweight which is probably why the pages are quite thin. It is the complete daily missal which some people have in two halves but I prefer to have just one book. Good value for money as it's not going to go out of date much!
