Disappointing
I'm learning Portuguese and I wanted a dictionary that was better than my pocket sized one. I'm not sure that this one is.

The print is clear and blue colour helps a bit.

It does not have enough words in it to be able to read a simple magazine or newspaper article. It's bigger and heavier than a pocket dictionary but if you want a fairly comprehensive Portuguese English dictionary, this isn't it.

the best AVAILABLE portuguese dictionary
currently on market there are just two reasonable portuguese-english-portuguese dictionaries; this one and oxford paperback. oxford one is 5% more accurate when you're learning european portuguese but it's got exactly two times less word and expression translations.

A satisfied customer
We bought this for our daughter who is studying Portuguese. She is very satisfied with it. What we were looking for, before we bought, was confirmation that this book had translations both from English to Portuguese and also Portuguese to English. We read up on all the descriptions available, and there was no information which told us this. We decided to take a gamble and it paid off. We can confirm that this dictionary has it all.
