Good for Americans
Whilst this is an easy and informative read for a beginner it is weak on its coverage of Cuban cigars. This is probably due to their apparent unavailability in the USA. As such it does not present a complete guide but more of a partial one.
A Beginners MUST HAVE!
I bought this book a couple of years ago when I first got interested in cigars. The title just seemed to fit how I felt about the subject. The information contained in this book is so widespread that you will be able to join in almost any cigar conversation. The book covers everything from where certain tobaccos are grown to what type of matches to use to light your smoke and why. After reading this book I have caught cigar retailers mistakes in telling me about their inventory. A good knowledge is necessary for buying a quality smoke and this book offers it.
A must have for women with cigar smoking men in their life!
Wanting to have a small part in all that he does, my friends and I found this to be helpful in understanding the lingo and "have a clue". Also, helped us be able to pick better cigars/accessories when we buy them as presents.
