excellent advanced level Italian course book
quite possibly the best advanced italian text book i've used... vocabuary is explained soley in italian in a way which is easy to understand and at the same time helps you further expand your own knowledge of the language... reading extracts are on the whole interesting, explain a fair bit about italian language and culture and introduce you to many important italian authors... the grammar is explained in a straightforward and no-nonsense fashion with plenty of examples... the only downside is that it can't be used as a "teach-yourself style book" but is more for class room use... still, it is nevertheless a very useful resource and, if you've got some knowledge of italian, it can give you confidence and greatly increase your understanding of the language.
