A Fresh Effort By Ms. Gibson!
Ms. Gibson has penned another entertaining read. Her latest effort has her dabbling with the sub genre of Romantic Suspense and the end result is a very good read that I think will surprise her long time fans.
Lucy Rothschild is a mystery writer and her latest effort has her exploring the world of internet dating. She’s created a pretty intriguing storyline. She just has one more date too keep and she will be done. But this date is not like the others. He’s handsome, and seems sincere. But more importantly, she is attracted to him. So when he contacts her again, she wants to say no but instead says yes. What she doesn’t know is life is imitating her art…men are starting to turn up dead and several of them…Lucy has dated.
Quinn is an undercover detective working on a new serial murder case. They are trying to catch “Breathless” before she has a chance to kill again. His dating leads to Lucy Rothschild. He thinks she’s a murder but at the same time he can’t stay away from the sexy author. But, when Breathless kills once again…and Quinn and Lucy are together at the time, Quinn is going to have to come clean about his lies…will he be able to keep Lucy and will she forgive him before she becomes the next victim of Breathless?
Quinn and Lucy are wonderful characters. They’re romance is both sensual and sweet. The secondary characters that populate the pages are endearing additions. The suspense storyline was a fresh and demonstrates Ms. Gibson’s range as a writer. Ms. Gibson has penned a good story that will appeal to her loyal fans as well as new readers.
Sex Lies & Online Dating
Rachel Gibson is definately back on track.
Following the disappointing Daisys Back In Town, I almost didn't buy her last book - The Truth About Valenties Day - luckily that one showed promise and finally with this book it looks like RG has gotten back to her best.
A nice romance/murder story without any cliches or cringeworth moments. Good characters & plot - this reminded me of Linda Howards' Mr Perfect.
It was glued to my hands!!!
I've never read anything from Rachel Gibson but the cover caught my eye and the book sounded fantastic. I was right!! This book was so good, I didn't put it down until 3 in the morning when I really needed sleep.
I would recommend this to anyone. I can't wait read more of her books!
