An easy to follow, comprehensive muscle manual5
As a sports therapist and teacher of sports science I would not be without this book. All the bones and muscles of the body are clearly illustrated in a simple easy to understand manner. You cannot start to train or stretch a muscle until you know exactly where it is and what it does. The book is simple enough for the beginner but contains enough detail for degree level studies. Excellent worksheets are included to aid the learning process. In addition the 'Dynamic Human CD ROM' is also included.

This book is the best I have seen in its field and a must for all sports related students and professionals.

ok3
ok in so far as it goes.

Essentially a long list of muscles, which is fine if you need a quick look-up to remind yourself of a forgotten muscle, or revise some anatomy. However, a little dull, and a lacking in explanation and detail. For example, there is virtually no explanation on the rather complex operations of the finger flexors/extensors.

The previous review sounds very much like the author or publisher wrote it!

on the plus side, the pictures are very clear
