The only algebra book you need5
I came to this book some 40+ years after doing (English) A-level maths. I haven't used that math since those exams, but needed to try and get the basics back in preparation for a math course in my mature years. And I found that this was certainly the book to do it!
Clear, concise explanations of the basics of each topic, leading you step by step to more advanced concepts. Lots of in-line tests to ensure that you have properly understood each part. And the tests' answers are explained, to help if you're going astray.
Ideal for either tackling in short 1/2 hour bites, or longer sittings.
I wish a book like this had been around back when I was at school. I envy the author's students.
