Customer Reviews
This is the best histology book out there, forget the rest!
The new edition of Junqueira is just amazing. Our Professor used to use this book but was lamenting the fact that it had no colour. So we used to use some extracts but that's all. But you should see it now. It looks amazing in full-colour, the layout is SO student-friendly, the clinical correlations very useful, and it makes learning histology an easy and attractive prospect. And I also couldn't believe it was about a tenner cheaper than the other histology text/atlas books out there.
And the real great thing for me personally was the new CD-ROM that comes with the book - all the colour micros are on there and you can zoom in and out. A truly great feature.
An absolute "Must Buy" for ALL Medical students.
This book is very didatic
this book is good for all kinds of biological students. The book contains all the systems of the human body in a very simplified way so anyone can understand it. For those students who are beggining their courses, this book is the best. I am a junior medical student and I have studied on this book and it was very interesting for me.
Very useful reference guide but sometimes too complicated
I use this book a lot and find it useful although sometimes the explanations can be too convoluted. Unfortunately, the diagrams and the pictures of histological slides are not in colour and some are not very clear. This book came recommended to me by my lecturer and has helped me in my study of basic histology and physiology.
