Unreliable Grammar Exercises
I would actively discourage students from using this book. It contains lots of grammatical and lexical mistakes (e.g. 'nur' vs. 'erst') as well as several mistranslations and non-idiomatic expressions which are likely to confuse language learners. I hope these mistakes will be corrected in future editions. Until then, I would recommend more reliable alternatives such as the workbook that accompanies Hammer's German Grammar.
German Grammar Drills
Good basic exercises in and explanations of the idiosyncrasies of the German language. Its American origins show from time to time, especially in the English translations offered. German not 100% reliable or accurate: we use it in a U3A group which includes a retired German teacher and from time to time a native German speaker.
