Good science and a facinating read
This book is a thorough investigation into the effects of diet on health. It has a wealth of information about the things we eat and how they effect our systems, and should be read by everyone who is interested in nutrition, not just those with arthritis. The scientific terminology may put off some potential readers, but these terms are explained and any reader could dip into the book for information that is appropriate to them using the contents page and the index. There is an excellent section at the end of the book that describes popular diets, and how some of these diets could have no possible benefit. This is a well researched book and is written in a language that anyone could understand. I am surprised that it is so cheap, and that I had never heard of it before I saw it on the shelves of the local library.
