All you need to know about raw food combining5
A compilation of three books - Raw Energy Food Combining Diet, Juice High and Raw Energy Recipes, this is an excellent guide to raw food combining. Raw food diets are becoming increasingly popular as people discover the amazing benefits of this healthy and enjoyable way of eating. Leslie Kenton explains how raw food can increase vitality, alleviate chronic illnesses from arthritis to depression, help weight loss, end food cravings and regenerate the body, actually preventing the degeneration usually thought to be a normal part of ageing.

Raw foods contain many vital elements that are killed by cooking, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, proteins and others, all of which are essential for optimum health. By improving our diet we not only improve our physical, but our emotional and spiritual health too.

As well as explaining the theory behind raw food combining, Leslie Kenton gives practical advice on changing your diet and includes many delicious recipes. The Juice High section explains the value of using juices as part of your diet, or on their own to give yourself a cleanse or a boost. It also has lots of mouthwatering recipes. The Raw Energy Bible is well named. It tells you all you need to know in order to transform your diet - and your life. But you may well be tempted to read some of her other excellent books once you've tried this one.

Sensible, healthy and above all tasty guide to better eating5
This is an excellent book if you are on the raw journey (or thinking of it). We were looking for a book with some more recipes and ideas to try out, and in here, we found all that and more - it has suggestions for a mini detox; suggestions for two weeks' worth of meals and excellent ideas for juices.

Moreover, if you need any persuasion that raw foods are the best your body can get, there is plenty of interesting research in here. The style of writing is concise, cogent and above all, never preachy, thereby facilitating informed, sensible decisions about your own eating.

Eating this way is such a good way to clean yourself up, to become leaner, healthier, less stressed and to feel better about yourself. For me, it was always a case of eating healthily (and not particularly enjoying it) OR eating the tasty stuff (the fast food and the takeaways) and adding a pound here and a pound there - but I would never have thought mealtimes could have been healthy AND delicious... Well try this book and find out for yourself! This is great stuff - and that's from a decidedly EX-junk food afficianado.

One of her best works5
Leslie Kenton was my guru when she was Beauty Editor at Harpers. She challenged old ideas and put new ones to us with insight and much research. This book is still one of her very best and this rework of it brings it bang up-to-date. She has always been a pioneer in beauty, health and spiritual enlightenment.

This is a basic book for anyone interested in how raw food is easier for us to digest than the cooked equivalent. She shows us how and why to eat raw as much as possible and she does it in a practical, easy to understand manner.

I'm a Nutritional Therapist ansd this work inspired me to care more about what I ate, and eventually to study to be a practitioner.
