This 2nd edition has brought the A-Z of Policing Law fully up to date and the work now covers 800 offences including legislation applicable to the Metropolis, the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 and the Vehicle (Crimes) Act 2001. If you are a police officer, special constable or criminal lawyer you will recognise that there is a need for a concise guide to the vast range of criminal offences which form the majority of your workload. This book uses an easy-to-use dictionary format to provide such a guide. Designed for users with some knowledge of the law, this book is aimed at those with their feet on the ground.
