Nice book, shame about the "Cyber Classroom"
The book is a pretty thorough introduction to Visual Basic, especially for somebody studying Computing at College/University, but the "Cyber Classroom" is absolutely dire -- basically, it's just an electronic version of the book that's incredibly tedious to use. An HTML version would have been better.

Do NOT buy this. It is a waste of money.
I wanted a book on Visual Basic that came with a CD that would allow me to fully compile and create simple executables. After carefully reading the packaging, I was delighted to see that the CD that comes with the book would provide me with just that. IT DOESN'T. The book itself is complicated, cluttered and confusing. It describes code for fully executable programs but provides a CD with limited functionality. For example, "Now compile and run your program", yeah with what?
