Customer Reviews
Fantastic. An enjoyable educating read.
I bought this book because I wanted to understand work, leisure and living conditions in inter-war Britain. I found it extremely enjoyable and ended up reading the whole book and not just the chapters on unemployment and leisure. Recommended to anyone who enjoys history and wants to enjoy reading about early 20th century British history.
Acceptable but old
Fast delivery. Acceptable quality but the book was apparently old in the sense that its pages were yellowish and the smell was that of old books kept in the cellar. Nevertheless, it was intact (no marks) so thouroughly re-usable.
