One of my favourite cookbooks.5
For a start, it is one of those cookbooks that has a little write up before each recipe (I like to read my cookbooks like novels, so really appreciate that), so it has that in it's favour, and it's relatively quick and easy so it has that in it's favour too, but apart from that, the recipes are wonderful - it just has you itching to get into the kitchen. From A Sort of Souffle with Taleggio and Mash to Cherry and Almond Flan, or Marsala Pork with Sage and Garlic or Lemon Mushroom Chicken - yum, yum, yum. I have even been inspired to cook semolina - !!!!!!!!! - as Orange Baked Semolina with Rhubarb.

Highly recommended.
