With it's literary heritage, unique pub culture and bubbling arts scene, Dublin inspires a rare affection among visitors, and its popularity shows no sign of diminishing. But there's more to Dublin than Guiness and James Joyce; the third "Time Out guide to Dublin" cuts through the sterotypes to give the low-down on this European city. Along with details on landmarks and the latest hotspots, it incorporates information on accomodation, restaurants, shops and services.

Customer Reviews
Excellent, thoroughly researched and accurate account.
This is an excellent guide, with information for all kinds of travellers - from the party animals, to the more subdued culture-seekers. It covers literally every aspect of travel, from restaurants to lodging to traditions and culture. It gives an honest view of what you should expect to find, with very helpful information on other parts of Eire too, mainly the large cities. It doesn't read like other guides - it's not a chore to look up information. In fact, the book is a pleasure to read and does not simply state facts. If you read it on the plane into Dublin, you should be more than equiped to have a great stay, while maximising your time there.
