Customer Reviews
a fantastic story - a real classic!
I can't keep a count of the number of times I have read this fantastic book, but I know that figure is just going to keep on rising. This book tells the exquisite tale of Alison, a quiet, lonely girl who's life is transformed when a mysterious woman spots her through the window of a train. Alison is taken under this immaculate womans wing and given a taste of a different kind of life - but is it really her's to taste....?
This book is just sheer enjoyment right up to the last page and I urge readers to take a look at Davidson's other fabulous books chronicalling the tales of Anabel Bunce and her exploits at St Willoughbys.
