Product Description

Milo Kick is no longer Mum's little 'angel'. Five months ago something happened - something only Milo knows - that changed him into a 'monster'. Unable to cope, Mum sends him to stay with Cressida Bell, an old family friend, who lives by the sea. Gradually, Milo becomes obsessed with stories about wild Captain Jellicoe who lives in a nearby cave and who, in turn, has his own story to tell. It is a story that will change Milo's life forever. It is the story of Mighty Fizz Chilla.

Customer Reviews

A interesting but some-what complicated story line.5
I think this book is brilliant.Once again the descriptions and illustartions were fantasic. The over-all story line was very well thought of but complicated which made it better as long as you remembered all the different characters. The twist at the end was amazing as it wasnt as anyone had expected and almost all the chapters had a marvellous cliff-hanger. I would recomend it to anyone who enjoys a long, thought gripping story that you will not ever be able to put down. Please read it im sure you will enjoy it.

A fun and often thought provoking story for all ages.4
I must say i was sold by the front cover (i'm a sucker for Shark books!)and its cool title, but the story had a few surprises too. I rattled through the book in a day and enjoyed it a lot, particularly its vivid descriptions, wonderful illustrations and easy layout design.
And with a deft touch at slightly more risque subject matters (abuse, teenage angst, divorce etc) it proved that along with with Anthony Horowitz, Philip Pullman, JK Rowling and many more, Kids books can now be appreciated by all ages.
Although not enough Sharks!
