Average customer review:Product Description
The Penguin Dictionary of Physical Geography covers common geographical terms (such as anticyclone, mackerel sky, tropical rain-forest), as well as less familiar ones (badlands, frog-earth, reflective beach, white smoker). This invaluable dictionary is ideal for students of geography at all levels and for anyone who deals with the subject in the course of their work.

Customer Reviews
Brilliant detailed definitions.
This dictionary provides absolutely brilliant , detailed definitions especially for my AS Geography course. It has really helped me and so far it has not failed in providing me with a definition that I need. However, my only criticism would be that the definitions can sometimes be a bit too detailed, but on the whole this book is a very useful resource.
