A religious student's bible5
This is a first class book. It is especially useful for the information on Diasporas. It gives a comprehensive outline on lots of useful subjects and is an invaluable tool for the student of religion. It gives a good grounding on a topic that can then be followed up and covers areas that other books simply don't cover. My only criticism is that of Knott whose piece on Britain, while good for figures, pails in comparison to Bilimoria's piece on Australia. This book should be somewhere in the Bibliography of every student.
