Customer Reviews

Perfect to read to both your Angelina and little Henry5
This is a refreshing change from the other Angelina stories, delightful as they may be, because it is set in the great outdoors and isn't about ballet, appealing more therefore to both my daughter AND her little brother. Angelina and Henry go off to collect wood for the fire while camping with Uncle Louie and are worried by noises and shadows at dusk. Angelina is brave and looks after her little cousin, and fortunately two bright lights which look like the eyes of a Big Cat are only Uncle Louie coming to find them. The story is a bit scary - enough to make my children's eyes widen - but not enough to be a worry at bedtime, and there's a nice warm heartening ending. It's good to see Angelina enjoying more robust outdoor pursuits than twirling on the ice and this story stands out from the more girlie ones. Perfect if you're trying to read the same stories to two children and only one of them is into Angelina.
