Three of the best living poets5
I was familiar with the work of the Ulster poet, Michael Longley and some of Michael Hofmann, but had not read Robin Robertson before - though I certainly will in the future. He combines Longley's lyrical grace and powerful, singing line with Hofmann's dark and angular sensuality, and is, for me, a real discovery. This combination of a selection of work by all three writers is an ideal introduction to three of the best poets writing in Britain today.
