If you read the first book then this follow up has a rather "we already read about this in the last book" feel for the first few chapters .On the negative side there is too much repetition and a real feeling that he is on a one man mission to convince world leaders that they must listen. All that aside if he stuck to the singular task of obtaining authorisation and funding to mount the key expedition to Lisan and found the steel ark then problem solved. What you need is an open mind to read this book and put aside pre conceived ideas. The logic needs to be tested and we need to hear now about action to start digging rather than 2-3 lines advising that the request was presented "at the wrong time" in Jordan. I would be happy to help with the digging in Jordan. Better that than possible smallpox and nuclear war if the code is correct and the way world events are going is there much reason to doubt the code?
