Excelent concise revision5
This is one of the rare OCR textbooks that gives a decent stab at tackling its own syllabus. It is specifically designed for the 'Hazards' option of the A' Level Syllabus, and it includes plenty of information on more obscure Hazards like Mudslides and Tsunamis that many other textbooks neglect to mention. Its coverage of Hurricanes, Volcano's and Earthquakes is outstanding, with a multitude of well-explained case studies and a style that is very easy to read and revise from. I found it particularly useful for revision because there is no irrelevant detail or off the subject rambling like many other less course-specific A level books. Also the book is aesthetically pleasing with plenty of diagrams and color variations, something that I actually find very important when doing hours of solid revision. With this textbook, a geography student will be armed with all the information he needs to write top-level answers for hazards questions.
