Excellent .
I bought this book with a suggestion of my English teacher in London and it is excellent for self study. It contains 2000 words and verbs with answers for exercises. It`s topics are very wide so it is comprehensive. It says it is good for Cambridge Fist Certificate as well. Unfortunately it is out of print. Maybe you can find in ebay beside amazon.co.uk or 2nd hand book sellers. It`s author B J Thomas wrote another book that is Advanced Vocabulary and Idioms. This is also very good book with the same format.
