as a student ODP we all search for the holy grail of books that are compact and easy to carry but full of everything we need to know - this book is it!!

A must for all anaesthetists
This latest addition to the Oxford Handbook range is a truly magic little book. It is clinically orientated (divided into preoperative and
perioperative sections), contains a comprehensive drug formulary, plus detailed and useful chapters on Paediatric and Obstetric anaesthesia. The
scope is broadly aimed at senior trainees, but I have found the book to be extremely useful myself for 'checking' block techniques, rare syndromes and before teaching sessions. Overall it is a must for all anaesthetists and great value for money.

This book is a must for the novice anasethetist. It lays out everything, and I mean everything, in a structured format. When you're on call and not sure how to approach a case, this book will tell you how. The only problem is it's big,. but then I guess that can't be helped. If you thinking should I buy this book? Then don't think just buy it, you won't be disappointed.
