Brush Up Your Own Grammar
Having reviewed another book for EFL / ESL teachers alike I was emailed several times by native speakers of English wanting to know if the grammar book I reviewed was of use to them.
Very often I referred these people to this book. No exercises, no messing about, just straight forward terminology and examples of English Grammar.
Anyone attempting to brush up their English grammar will not be disappointed with this book. So many times have I lent it out and so many times have I found out that they have gone and bought another copy of it. Buy it NOW!!!
The best book on English grammar and usage
I've been studying English for the most part of my life and I've always be frustrated with English grammar. I thought that English grammar had no clear-cut rules and, therefore, was difficult to explain and understand. I was wrong.
Of course, English grammar is hard (because there are so many rules) but it is easy to understand IF you read this book. After finding this book, the others English grammar books (like English grammar in use) seem bad and you have the impression that their authors don't understand well English grammar.
If you want to know how to use English, please buy it. You won't be disappointed.
this book is outstanding
i would recommend this book to all foreign people who have a basic knowledge of english. After reading this book i understand english a lot better and i feel more confident speaking to english people. It's simple and very easy to understand.
