Using 100 phrasal verbs consciously and appropriately5
This workbook consists of 100, most commonly used, phrasal verbs. The phrasal verbs are organised according to their particles (after, back, in, off, up etc.) creating 14 chapters. Each verb is dealt with on a separate page; on each page you can find:
1) a 'STUDY' section - showing the usage of the phrasal verbs in different types of sentences
2) a 'CHECK' section - you have to put the verbs into their most suitable forms
3) a 'PRACTISE' section - you have to find a deliberate error in the given sentences
4) a 'BUILD YOUR VOCABULARY' section - in which other meanings, synonyms, opposites etc. are mentioned
A review section can also be found in which there are some additional exercises based on each particle. I highly recommend this book any beginner or intermediate learners because this is a handy, self-explanatory book in which the key is included. You may also stumble across one caricature on each page, which may help you to memorise and take in the meaning of the given phrasal verb. All I miss is an attached mini dictionary at the back of the book.
