Excellent overview of recent , relevant info on pronunciatio
The authors have taken a great deal of disparate and widereaching research in the field of psycholinguistics, linguistics and related areas and made a comprehensible and useable survey of this data for teachers of pronunciation. The task of ordering and combining recent research results from many fields is no easy one - Seidlhofer and Dalton have made a superb job of making this information accessible and useable. The chapters include fruitful searching questions for teachers to participate in if they wish. The field of pronunciation is broken up into easy-to-use chunks. One of the best books around for language teachers. Highly recommended!
