Average customer review:Product Description
This text is an extensive revision of the author's highly successful text, Linear Systems Theory and Design. In the third edition, the author is revising his formerly more theoretical approach to the topic of linear systems, choosing instead a more general approach that will appeal to a wider audience. A key feature of the revision is the incorporation of MATLAB throughout the text, with an emphasis on the ideas behind the computation and the interpretation of the results. The user-friendly approach to linear systems strikes a balance between theory and applications. The text is intended for undergraduate students of linear systems and multivariable system design.

Very clear and easy way of meeting Linear Systems...
I read this book during my study in a graduate course: Linear System Theory. First of all, the volume of the book is such that it includes almost everything to introduce Linear Systems, including one nice chapter on Liner Algebra for review, but it is still about 350 pages -not 700 or 800 pages as we got used to see-. In addition, perfect design and organization of the book also forces you just have your cup of tea, open your music and study Linear Systems...The result is not only an A or A+, but also the pleasure of having almost completely finishing the text and the problems in the book (although some people say that there are not enough problems at the end of the chapter, in my opinion, at least, the number is 'realistic': I know books which has 70-80 problems at the end of the chapters, huge volume at all, hard to carry with, and makes you afraid when you look at the number of questions before you begin solving them and even dicourages you to sit and solve, because you know that you will only be able to solve 20 percent of them! Most students do not solve most of them...) The book also includes real-world implementation of the design problems, by using Op-Amps, etc.
