Fairly Poor Edition...
Catullus is, textually, tricky. Our manuscript record is pretty poor and what we have is at times incoherent. This edition does not do nearly enough to resolve the textual difficulties, which makes it useful in some ways as a scholarly text, but if one wishes to actually read Catullus and find something coherent, it is probably better to look elsewhere.
