IB Chemistry revision guide for HL and SL
The author has long experience with the IB-diploma and its special requirements from yearlong teaching and also as the senior director of the chemistry examinations. By this experience he knows what it takes to get a good grade, and provides the reader with the need knowledge and a very simple and comprimized way. The book follows stricktly the IB-sullabus for first examination in May 2003, and covers both the HL and SL. It is excelent as a revision guide, not a textbook to gain insight and understanding from.

Lacks detail
Although I have not yet taken my final exams, I feel as if this book does not compleatly cover what is in the syllabus. It often seems rushed, and topics are only briefly covered. I found myself having to re-read parts, trying to grasp a confusing concept that had been crammed into one or two paragraphs. This is not the book to use if there are some things you dont understand. It is only usefull to consolidate your understanding because it is so brief. Id recomend 'Advanced chemistry' instead. Although its for A level, I find that it gives great explainations and is easy to understand.

Need help in IB chemistry? This is the real answer. Even thought you are a chemistry professor this book will help you with everything and anything. Lots of explanations, examples and experiments that will help you on tests, labs and exams. Definetly wortht the money!
