Richard Matthews is a barrister at 2 Bedford Row in London - a leading criminal set of chambers. He is an experienced criminal practitioner of sixteen years call and since May 2004 has been Standing Counsel to the Health and Safety Executive. He is co-authoring with James Ageros a second edition of Health and Safety Enforcement Law and Practice (first edition published by Butterworths in 2003) for OUP, due to publish in April 2007.
