About the Author
Dr Louise Fawcett is a Fellow and Lecturer in Politics at St Catherine's College, Oxford. She was the McArthur Scholar in International Relations from 1990-1995.
Her previous publications are Regionalism in World Politics (Oxford University Press, 1996), The Third World Beyond the Cold War (Oxford University Press, 2000) and Iran and the Cold War (Cambridge University Press, 1992).
Her forthcoming publications include Regional Governance in the Americas (Routledge) and The International Relations of Developing Countries (Polity)
