Covering a wide range of topics in a clear and accessible writing style, Environmental Law introduces students to all of the key areas of environmental law, drawing on legislation, policy, and practice. The sixth edition of Environmental Law has been totally restructured and revised to incorporate all the latest developments in law. It includes updated coverage of all aspects of environmental law, thus reflecting changes to legislation and case law that have occurred since the previous edition, including the law relating to climate change, the Aarhus convention, and human rights law. Reference is made throughout to the influence of European and international organisations and legislation. Subjects are fully cross-referenced, allowing readers to follow key ideas through the book and to understand the interaction of law and the environment.

Review
A very detailed and authoritative book that will be of great value to all environmental law practitioners irrespective of experience. (TSG Life )
From the first edition onwards, this has been my main recommendation for purchase by environmental law students...When the sixth edition arrived in October 2005 it was very welcome, but was it worth the wait? In short, yes, it was. This is a major revision rather than a simple update. (The Law Teacher, 2006 )
The sixth edition builds on existing strengths. It has always been a student-focused text. It tackles subjects with a frankness that communicates the authors' command of, and enthusiasm for, environmental law. (The Law Teacher, 2006 )

Customer Reviews
Environmental Law
A thoroughly absorbing book for those who are interested in the environment, or for those studying Law. Environmental law was one of the subjects in my final year of a law degree. This book was listed as essential reading, but rather than a dry pompously academic book (as so many law books are) this gets to the point and explains it extremely well. I wish more legal academics could stop polishing their egos with their excess verbiage and actually make the effort to get in touch with people.
