    A Simply Splendid book!5
This is an excellent book to grasp the basic concepts of SSADM such as dataflow diagrams, entity relationship modeling and normalization. The two authors, Mr. M Ledjk and Mr. D Deeks have done a splendid job of simplifying SSADM concepts, that sometimes can be very confusing. I have also had the pleasure of being taught by these two University Lecturers and I know how very professional they are.

    A very practical book5
This book is a practical book which takes the reader through various structured analysis techniques. Throughout the book there are lots of examples which give the book depth. The book adheres to SSADM notation. Towards the end of the book object oriented analysis is also covered. This is a very useful text for students studying systems analysis on Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses and for IS practioners. I can recommend this book.

    Graham Brown4
I can honestly say that the text can be the a good intrduction to the art of systems analysis and design.

Studying under both authors at the university of sunderland, and being privvy to its content before this work was published. even then you knew that the work would be required reading for those who may find the subject difficult to get a handle on. The book also covers more advanced topic such as entity life histories quite well.

However it would have been better if it provided more information of other knowledge elicitation techiniques such as soft systems and business analysis
