About the Author
Reverend Godfrey Edward Phillips (04.03.1878-29.11.1963) was educated at King Edward's School (Birmingham) and Mansfield College (Oxford). He was a missionary in India (Madras, Bangalore). He became Professor of Missions at Selly Oak Colleges (Birmingham).
