Claire has hurt her knee so she sets off home to tell her mum all about it. On the way she meets her friends and tells them how the fall happened. But just how did it happen . . .? Customer Reviews

One of the best!5
A fabulous book teaching children about the disadvantages of 'fibbing' - and how the smallest fibs can grow and grow. A harmless finish with nothing startling and no 'lectures' on the morals of the story. Recommended for every household. Perhaps a little long, but you can easily skip a few pages for the smaller children initially! A definite favourite in my household.

Beautiful and inspiring - a joy to read5
Claire has a cut on her knee and she sets off home to tell her mum all about it but on the way she meets many friends and tells them weird and wonderful stories about how she came to have a bad knee including a crocodile attack, being kidnapped by a witch and a misdemeanour with a gorilla. It's a beautifully-illustrated, inspiring tale that will wet a child's imagination. A real joy to read.
