Customer Reviews
Excellent spiritual reading for all ages.
This book evokes childhood memories. It helps to refresh and strengthen the spiritual weaknesses by returning to the pure, simplicity of children. Echoing a thousand times Christ's words "Unless you become like little children you will not enter the Kingdom of God." A MUST for every family library. Easy to read and one you can take up, and put down at leisure. It aptly reflects the life of Cardinal Basil Hume, first as a quiet, Benedictine monk and later as Cardinal. He never lost the aura of Sanctity, especially in his intense love of simplicity, which was wonderfully displayed by children's magnetic appeal towards him.
a beautiful, down to earth book - a must for all christians

A really delightful read!
I always thought this book was for children, not adults, and therefore avoided it but how wrong I was! I've often tried to do too much in my spiritual life, had all the right books, all the right prayers etc and have ended up not doing anything because it's all been too precise, to formatted. The late Cardinal has shown me through the pages of Blunderland that my very best, however imperfect, is good enough for my Creator.
