About the Author
Edward J. Hackett is Professor in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University and Director of the Division of Social and Economic Sciences at the U.S. National Science Foundation. Olga Amsterdamska teaches social studies of science, philosophy of science, and history of medicine in the Science and Technology Studies program at the University of Amsterdam. Michael Lynch is Professor of Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University. Judy Wajcman is Professor of Sociology in the Demography and Sociology Program at Australia National University.
