Jung's theory of psychological type distinguishes between the four functions of sensing, intuition, thinking and feeling. This book uses type theory to explore 51 passages from Matthew's Gospel that are included in the "Revised Common Lectionary". The insights gained provide an resource for teaches and leaders as well as a key tool for personal meditation. The theory has profound implications for Christian leaders who need to nurture all four psychological types in their congregations and impacts strongly on how individual Christians meditate on the scriptures.

exploring personality
This commentary ( and the ones on MArk and Luke) is very helpful for teachers and preachers in giving helpful and accessible examples of of how to use Myers Briggs theory in Christian teaching, learning and worship. Anglicans in particular will appreciate that the commentary is based on the Revised Common Lectionary.
