Customer Reviews
If you're an experienced PC user, don't expect too much.
At first view this book seems to have everything you need to be more productive with your computer, but has it? Well not really, a lot of the ideas are gimmicky, for example recording a family tree is nothing more than a simple family database. A better idea is a dedicated family tree program which has so much more to offer. A CD ROM is included with many useful templates but be warned there is no 3D landscape gardening software. Sorry Mac users this book assumes you are running Windows 95 / 98 and you will need some basic Microsoft software such as Office and Works. The Internet chapter is quite useful if you are new to surfing and you will soon learn to navigate around the web. I would recommend this book if you want some fun with your computer but don't expect too much if you're an experienced PC user.
