Invaluable sensible source of reference5
The information provided in this book is written in everyday language, easy to understand and is cross referenced to other linked sections.

It has enabled me to help friends and relatives on a number of issues and I am now buying a copy for one of them, she was so impressed with the advice it gave and helped her in relation to certain medical advice she had been given.

I cannot recommend it too highly.

A no-nonesense book.5
I find this book to be really helpful and informative, with practical, down-to-earth information and advice. The book doesn't have any fad diets or health scares, instead it advocates a balanced, healthy approach to food. I particularly like the way that no food is considered to be "bad", everything is considered fine in moderation.

The book also gives advice as to which foods can help with specific ailments, which is helpful. The layout of the book is very good as well, with attractive pictures.

I would recommend this book because there is so much confusion about what we "should" and "shouldn't" be eating, and this book gives reliable, unbiased information. It's overall attitude to food is positive, and I think this is very helpful and makes the book pleasant to use.

Fab book!5
I bought this after borrowing it from a friend -- a must have for every household. Worth every penny - and more!
